ICF Türkiye CONGRESS “Use of ICF in Different Sectors” 23-24 October 2023 Atılım University Atılım University and MelekAcademy will organize the II. themed 'Use of ICF in Different Sectors' on 23-24 October 2023. They held the ICF Türkiye Congress online. Congress, Congress President Assoc. Dr. D. Melek ER, General Director of Special Education and Guidance Services of the Ministry of National Education, Assoc. Dr. Mustafa OTRAR, Atılım University Faculty of Health Sciences Dean Prof. Dr. Nurhan BAYRAKTAR and Atılım University Rector Prof. Dr. It was opened with the speeches of Serkan ERYILMAZ. Invited speakers of the congress are Prof. Dr. Manfred Pretis (Austria), Prof. Dr. Andreas Seidel (Germany), Prof. Dr. Andrea Martinuzzi (Italy), Prof. Dr. Eva Björck (Sweden) talked about her own work on ICF, her experiences and the practices in her country. In the oral presentations, the studies carried out on ICF in the world and in our country were explained, and the sessions provided new perspectives on ICF with the contributions and questions of the participants. International participants attending the congress from the USA, Germany, Austria, Guatemala, India, Spain, Sweden and Italy and expert staff from the Ministry of Family and Social Services, Ministry of Labor and Social Security, Ministry of National Education, Ministry of Health, Turkish Statistical Institute from Turkey, Academicians from various universities, NGO representatives, professionals (80 participants) working in the field and students (100 participants) attended. Successful information sharing was achieved thanks to the contributions of the participants, including the sharing of knowledge and experience, as well as the invited speakers and oral presentations at the congress.
